exactly 10 years ago, Long Vacation aired over at Fuji TV. It became an instant hit, reached a rating of over 35% and made Kimura Takuya even more popular.


this is the 2nd Kimura Takuya dorama i saw and i truly enjoyed watching it. its quite interesting to see him play as a shy guy, getting all tongue-tied everytime he sees Matsu's character, freaking out with Minami and of course, seeing him that young! hahaha! ~^______^~

anyway, OMEDATOU! Happy 10th anniversary! Let's all have a happy and wonderful long vacation!!! Cheers!!!

MORE THAN 1 LITRE OF TEARS

it seems that for the past 3 weeks, there's been a bunch of people checking out my blog searching for some Ichi Ritoru No Namida info/goodies. its quite an interesting thing.

anyway, i re-watched the series again with my mom. as expected, we're both crying our eyes out from the start til the end. it was the first time my mom saw the series and i think third for me. its so crazy! actually, it made me remember the time when we saw the movie I Am Sam. when we got out of the theater our eyes were so puffy! @_@

back to 1 litre, i stumbled on this site where these two amazing girls are actually translating the published diary of Kitou Aya. just started to read it the other day. its such an interesting read. it made Aya-san more real and made me admire her even more. for people interested, you can head out to KIWI & PYE's Xanga Site for the diary.



hmmm... theres been few people dropping by here searching for the soundtrack of ichi ritoru no namida. well, im feeling super kind today and for people interested, i can upload the whole thing plus 3 of the insert songs (Konayuki & March 9 of Remioromen and Only Human of K). ICHI RITORU NO NAMIDA (1 Litre of Tears)

Finally! i have finished watching Ichi Ritoru No Namida. actually, i finished the series yesterday morning. it left me so sad that i couldnt write after watching... i was still crying my eyes out. come to think of it, i was crying non-stop from episode 8 til the last. my eyes were really hurting and super puffy afterwards.

this drama series is one of the best i've seen. the cast, story and visuals were really great. ohhh, forgot to mention, soundtrack as well. ive been listening to the soundtrack since saturday. yes, i havent been listening to my lil boys since the weekend! i think its gonna take awhile for me to get back to my lil boys -- still have the ichi ritoru no namida fever.

i wonder if Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu(Crying out, in the Center of the World) will have same effect on me. i only saw first 30 mins of its first episode couple months ago. i thought it was a lil dragging so i didnt finish it. but ive been reading that its a very good series. ok, even my brother said so. ill prolly watch it after finishing Nobuta Wo Produce. yamada takayuki is a pretty good incentive, i think. ^____^

i found a short live performance of the band Remioromen of my fave song (at the moment) Konayuki. its the insert song of Asou Haruto (nishikido ryou - the boy can really cry) from the series. enjoy... ooohhh, at the start of the clip, you'll see my lil boys. hahahaha!~^_____^~

OF DEBUT PARTIES AND LI'L BOYS...

yesterday was my cousin Lianne's 18th birthday party. so, it called for all us to dress up and head out to Dusit Hotel Nikko.

the party was pretty fun. my brother got into to this trigger-happy mode with camera. he was chasing our lil nieces around the ballroom trying to capture that "kodak moment" but failed. although, he did manage to get a snap shot of me by the dessert table. ~^_____^~


during lianne's sorta like cotillion dance, ate was telling mark (cousin tricia's hubby) about her debut party when she was 18. all those gowns, dances and stuff like that. i didnt have anything similar to share coz i was pretty much drunk on my 18th birthday. yeah, i did have a party - but it was just here at home with my high school barkada and other close friends. did i say i was drunk??!?! practically everyone during my party was. hihihi! ~^_____^~

oooohhhh, you guys have to see this! its a clip from the latest g no arashi episode. this time, they're cheerleaders! check out their costumes... i havent seen the whole episode yet but ive been reading that the episode is super kawaiiiii and funny!
