ITS ALMOST TIME...SAMA-SAMA!

yes, its almost time for the most wonderful event of the year! ok, minus my birthday and christmas. It's French Spring In Manila. i cant wait for the film fest, jazz music fest and fete de la musique. Hmmm... although, the fete shindig isnt listed on the sked of events. hmmm...

for the last couple of years, ive been goin to fete shindig. last year, was the only time i went there without any camera and it was a blast! i enjoyed sitting by the bar with my ice-cold cerveza negra, listening to great pinoy jazz musicians and not worrying about framing, lighting, or anything to do with camera work.

i just cant wait .... lets go, sama-sama!

NEW LOOK!

i know, i know! its nowhere close to anything PINK! but ive been wanting to use this template ever since i started blogging. i didnt want to use it before coz i know it'll take me forever to turn everything in pink. but what the hell... maybe its time for the pink to rest for awhile.

i think this is like the 5th time i changed templates in the almost 3 years of my blogging. im thinking of keeping this one for the rest of the year or until i figured out tweaking this template (which will take me prolly take 10,000 years).

Ooohhh, i added a lil something on the sidebar on the left. i listed all the stuffs im currently watching. sorta made me realized, im watching a lot. hehehehe... and i still have long list of series i still wanna see.

exactly 10 years ago, Long Vacation aired over at Fuji TV. It became an instant hit, reached a rating of over 35% and made Kimura Takuya even more popular.


this is the 2nd Kimura Takuya dorama i saw and i truly enjoyed watching it. its quite interesting to see him play as a shy guy, getting all tongue-tied everytime he sees Matsu's character, freaking out with Minami and of course, seeing him that young! hahaha! ~^______^~

anyway, OMEDATOU! Happy 10th anniversary! Let's all have a happy and wonderful long vacation!!! Cheers!!!

MORE THAN 1 LITRE OF TEARS

it seems that for the past 3 weeks, there's been a bunch of people checking out my blog searching for some Ichi Ritoru No Namida info/goodies. its quite an interesting thing.

anyway, i re-watched the series again with my mom. as expected, we're both crying our eyes out from the start til the end. it was the first time my mom saw the series and i think third for me. its so crazy! actually, it made me remember the time when we saw the movie I Am Sam. when we got out of the theater our eyes were so puffy! @_@

back to 1 litre, i stumbled on this site where these two amazing girls are actually translating the published diary of Kitou Aya. just started to read it the other day. its such an interesting read. it made Aya-san more real and made me admire her even more. for people interested, you can head out to KIWI & PYE's Xanga Site for the diary.



hmmm... theres been few people dropping by here searching for the soundtrack of ichi ritoru no namida. well, im feeling super kind today and for people interested, i can upload the whole thing plus 3 of the insert songs (Konayuki & March 9 of Remioromen and Only Human of K). Just drop me a line if anybody wants it. ~^_____^~
